Located atop
a hill, this temple is dedicated to Lord Rama. The Punarjani
Noozhal (crawling through the Punarjani cave) is an
important ritual. Punarjani is a narrow cave
believed to have been built by Viswakarma, the legendary creator of Kerala and
on an auspicious day devotee’s crawl through the half kilometer cave to get rid
of their sins
